The 25th anniversary concert of Les Miserables, which was presented at London's O2 Arena Oct. 3, 2010, airs on PBS stations around the country March 6 at 7 PM ET; check local listings. In the New York metropolitan area, viewers can watch the concert on WNET/Thirteen.
"PBS offers every American a front-row seat to great arts and culture programming, and the Les Miz 25th anniversary concert allows viewers across the country the chance to experience some of the best-loved music of all time. PBS is proud to present the U.S. broadcast premiere of this remarkable production," stated PBS President and CEO Paula Kerger.
The cast includes Alfie Boe as Jean Valjean, Nick Jonas as Marius, Norm Lewis as Javert, Matt Lucas as Thénardier, Lea Salonga as Fantine, Jenny Galloway as Madame Thénardier and Katie Hall as Cosette.
