The March 31 episode will be reminiscent of a Broadway show.

Fans of the ABC show “Grey’s Anatomy” will get a chance to hear the characters break out into song on the March 31 episode of the series. Although there will be singing, cast member Sara Ramirez tells viewers that there will be no dancing. “The word ‘musical’ tends to mislead people. Understandably so. The word ‘musical’ implies that there’s dancing, a lot of jazz hands and some kicks and some turns,” Ramirez said in AZ Central.
For Sara Ramirez, the singing in the episode will be nothing new.In 2005 she received a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her performance of Lady of the Lake in the Broadway musical “Spamalot.” With her musical experience under her belt, Ramirez told E Online that she sympathized with some of her cast mates whohad no singing experience.
“Singing can be very confrontingand can be overwhelming, a littleintimidating if you’re never doneit before,” she said.
