Update: Buttonless iPod Touch 5G a fake
At the time it was difficult to determine whether they were in fact real or a fake. With the first pictures being somewhat blurry it was almost impossible to tell. However the second picture almost certainly looked like a fake and today, TechCrunch has confirmed so.The blog has just reported that on their "tip line today comes an email from the faker himself (or herself) talking about how easy it was to make a fake and get it on all the biggest gadget sites of the net."
Unfortunately that's how it is in the fast paced tech industry. Sometime as story goes flying out quicker than the experts can analyze and debunk them as fakes. That's why pencils have erasers right? So, we're back to square one then with the iPod touch 5G rumors... More on this as and when it develops.
