Cô cũng là một trong số những người đẹp từng dính líu đến scandal ảnh sex của Trần Quán Hy (Edison Chen) hồi năm 2008.Gần đây, người đẹp này xuất hiện trên truyền hình và công bố những tin nhắn gửi cho cô từ nickname EDC. Hồi đầu tháng 6 vừa qua, trang May Daily của Trung Quốc cũng đưa tin Trần Quán Hy vẫn thường xuyên liên lạc với Gloria.Tuy nhiên, nam tài tử bác bỏ chuyện anh hẹn hò với Gloria và khẳng định: “Tôi chưa bao giờ liên lạc với cô ấy”.Trước hành động của Quán Hy, Wong cho biết: “Anh ta nói sai sự thật. Quán Hy nói chúng tôi chưa bao giờ ở bên nhau khiến mọi người nghĩ tôi là kẻ yêu đơn phương. Dominique Strauss-Kahn to face fresh sex assault complaint

French writer Tristane Banonclaims the IMF chief acted like a 'rutting chimpanzee' in an attack on her nine years ago

A French writer who claims Dominique Strauss-Kahn sexually assaulted her nine years ago is to file an official complaint, her lawyer has announced.
Tristane Banon previously described the attack, which happened when she was in her early 20s, in a television programme in 2007, when she called Strauss-Kahn, whose name was bleeped out, a "rutting chimpanzee."
She says she consulted a lawyer at the time, but was persuaded not to take actionby her mother, a regional councillor in the Socialist party and friend of the Strauss-Kahn family. Banon isgoddaughter to Strauss-Kahn's second wife.
Banon's lawyer, David Koubbi, said: "We are planning to make a complaint. I am working withher."
Strauss-Kahn was remanded in custody today after appearing in a New York court accused of a sexual attack on a hotel maid.
The 62-year-old head of the International Monetary Fund – who was widely tipped to be France's next president – was refused bail by the judge, Melissa Jackson, who ruled he might attempt to flee the US. His offer to post bail of one million dollars was turned down.
DSK, as he is known in France, will now stay in prison until his next court hearing on May 20. He faces charges of attempted rape, sex abuse, a criminal sex act, unlawful imprisonment and forcible touching and could face up to 25 years in prison.
Strauss-Kahn denies the charges.
Koubbi said Banon, now 31, was "literally blown over" when she heard the claims Strauss-Kahn had attacked a hotel chambermaid in New York. "At the same time, she was certainly not surprised," he said.

"I didn't wish to be the girl who had a problem with a politician for the rest of my life."



So said Tristane Banon, in explaining why she didn't file charges nine years ago against Socialist politician and current International Monetary Fund chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn. I don't blame Mansouret in the least. Many parents have trouble when their children are sexually assaulted. When I was raped, my mother told me not to tell anyone or no man would have me. I didn't listen to the first part, but I am sure I internalized the second.






When my students or former students come to me asking whether they should file discrimination cases against powerful men who have harassed them or worse, I always tell them — as Mansouret did — that just because they are telling the truth does not mean they won't be branded as a troublemaker or worse. Fair warning.



But I also tell them that if they have the courage to do it (and no one has an obligation to be a hero after they've been victimized), they may end up saving the lives or sanity of the women who would come next, to whom he would do the same thing, even if they never know that, even the women, like Banon, who were allegedly assaulted years earlier.



There are some men who are only abusive once, or only abusive to one particular woman. But in my experience, that is the exception rather than the rule. Nothing comes out until the first woman speaks up, and then you just wait.



Banon is speaking out because a hotel maid in New York City did.
