But yesterday Nick Jonas and girlfriend Delta Goodrem were seen heading out for a bite to eat hand in hand. The new couple, who have just returned from a tropical holiday in Bali, headed to Henry’s Hat in Studio City, California to grab some lunch.

Delta, who split from fiancé Brian McFadden on April 1 this year, was dressed in a cream jersey dress and a black leather jacket which she teamed with a pair of leggings and a pastel coloured scarf.



Her beau Nick, 18, was looking dapper in a shirt rolled to his sleeves tucked into a pair of dark jeans and smart brown shoes.



The couple shared a joke together and firmly held hands as they made their way into the eatery.

Imogen Thomas 'blackmailed' superinjunction footballer, judge says

The model Imogen Thomas's legal fight to name the married footballer with whom she had an affair took a dramatic twist when she found herself accused of allegedly blackmailing the man with demands for first £50,000 and then £100,000.

At the high court in London, Mr Justice Eady – explaining why he had granted an injunction preventing the naming of the footballer last month – said there was "ample reason not to trust" Thomas, 28, in an eight-page judgment that allowed some details of her dealings with the footballer to be made public.

The judge noted that evidence before the court on 14 April "appeared strongly to suggest that the claimant [the anonymous footballer] was being blackmailed" – although he did not reach a final conclusion on the point. Thomas denies the allegation.

Twitter fans of Tito Ortiz got an eyeful Thursday afternoon when a full frontal nude pic appeared on the photo stream connected to the mixed martial artist's official account.

The Tito Ortiz nude photo, seen here in part, shows the former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion in what appears to be a log cabin without a single stitch of clothing on. While some have said the photo looks fake, others chalk up the blurry appearance to the use of a cell phone camera.

In response to the nude photo's mysterious online appearance, Tito tweeted, "Someone hack my [expletive] phone." The 36-year-old later added, "Sorry people."

Tito began dating former porn star Jenna Jameson in 2006. The pair are parents to twin boys Jesse James and Journey Jett, now two years old. He also has a son named Jacob from a previous marriage.

Capitol Police not investigating Weiner incident

The Capitol Police are not investigating what Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.) is calling an online identity theft that led to a lewd photograph being posted from his Twitter account.
Over the weekend, a photo of a man’s bulging underwear was sent to a Seattle woman from Weiner’s active Twitter account. Weiner said his Twitter and Facebook were hacked, and on Monday he said he’d hired an attorney to look into civil and criminal actions.

Giggs, one of the most popular and successful players in British history, is alleged to have consorted with a reality TV show contestant named Imogen Thomas. In and of itself, this would merely make for sordid tabloid fare and an awkward conversation around the married Mr. Giggs's dining room table. What made this story explosive is that Giggs apparently sought a controversial gagging order, called a "super-injunction," to prevent newspapers from reporting this. Monday, he saw that order shattered by a Member of Parliament.

The case has riveted the chattering classes and led to some ugly scenes in Manchester on Tuesday night. Journalists were attacked by masked men outside Giggs’ home, with some cars being damaged in the process. VANCOUVER -- An extremely enthusiastic Vancouver Canucks fan was caught on live television pressing her bare breasts up against the penalty box during the team's victory over the San Jose Sharks, the Vancouver Sun reported Thursday.
The woman's uncensored show of support seemed to be directed towards Sharks forward Ben Eager, who was sat in the penalty box during the third-period of Vancouver's 7-3 win on Wednesday night.
Eager didn't visibly react when the woman lifted her Canucks jersey and bared herflesh. However, the six-second display was picked up by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) and shown across the country.
CBC head of media relations Jeff Keay explained that the footage was picked up by an in-house camera that CBC didnot control.

Songwriter, an Oscar Winner, Joseph Brooks Is Found Dead

 

Joseph Brooks, who wrote Debby Boone's 1977 hit "You Light Up My Life," was found dead Sunday (May 22) at his home in New York City. Police said one of Brooks' friends found the 73-year-old songwriter on a couch with a plastic dry cleaning bag and a towel wrapped around his head and a tube attached to a helium tank. A suicide note was found at the scene. At the time of his death, Brooks was awaiting trial on rape and sexual abuse charges after pleading innocent in 2009 to alleged attacks on 13 women. In January, his son Nicholas Brooks was charged with the death of his ex-girlfriend, swimsuit designer Sylvie Cachey. Boone's recording of "You Light Up My Life" reached No. 1 on the Billboard pop chart and No. 4 on the country chart. It won an Academy Award in 1977 for best original song and a Grammy in 1978 as song of the year.
